Halloween

Halloween started as a pagan tradition, to dress up and scare off evil spirits. They would light candles and carve things like turnips and squash to light the pathway to their home and keep it protected.

I love Halloween because I have always enjoyed dressing up. Additionally, as I got older and learned about the origins of Halloween's traditions, it grew my interest more.

The day after Halloween is celebrated, Día de Muertos begins and lasts for two days.
